People Organization Technology Lead
Overview of Position
This role will directly contribute to the development of products,
services and experiences that make the world of work better for all Assurantemployees. This role is responsible for enhancing the efficiency,effectiveness, and overall performance of the Global People functions, throughanalyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementingsolutions to streamline operations, reduce waste, increase capacity, andenhance employee experience.
The People
Organization Solutions Engineer role is a dynamic and experienced individualwith a strong background in process improvement, specifically within HRsystems, and will be adept at utilizing Lean Six Sigma, product-centricoperating models, and agile methodologies to optimize our HR systems, processesand create frictionless employee experience.
Key responsibilities
Responsible
for the optimization of E2E Global People operational processes to enhanceefficiency, quality, productivity, and employee experience.
Solution
Design :
Develop innovative solutions and implement the best practices to streamlineprocesses, standardize, eliminate waste, create capacity, and optimize resourceutilization. Employ Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to drive measurableimprovements. Collaborates with variousfunctional teams including IT, technology management, vendors and industryexperts to map business requirements into technology and process solutions thatoptimally balance cost, speed of implementation, and value while leveraging existingtechnologies and standards whenever possible.
Process
Improvement :
Foster culture of innovation and continuous process improvement within GlobalPeople Organization and incorporates cross-functional initiatives inclusive ofbusiness, technology, and organizational change efforts. Analyze and improveexisting HR systems and processes using continuous improvement principles toidentify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions. Identifyopportunities to leverage HR platforms and tools to increase automation, driveself-service and improve employee workflows. (Specializing in Time Tracking,Absence Management & Benefits)
Agile
Methodologies :
Apply agile methodologies to manage and deliver HR system enhancements,ensuring timely and efficient project completion. Develop and implement aproduct-centric operating model within HR, focusing on continuous improvementand user-centric solutions.
Collaboration : Work closely with HR, IT,
and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensureseamless integration and adoption of new processes. Partner with Digital Technology to leverageHR platform and GenAI solutions for process automation, self-service, dataanalytics, and reporting. Identify opportunities to optimize existing HRsystems and tools or implement new technologies to enhance Global Peopleoperations.
Data
Analysis :
Utilize data-driven approaches to analyze existing processes, identifyinefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement. Conduct root causeanalysis to understand underlying issues impacting performance. Establish metrics and control mechanisms tomonitor process performance and track improvements. Continuously analyzeperformance data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations forfurther improvement.
Training,
Communications & Support : Provide training and support to HR teams on new systems
and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained improvements. Share best practices, lessons learned andsuccess stories across the organization to promote a culture of continuouslearning and improvement and enhance the capabilities of teams in processoptimization methodologies.
Compliance
& Documentation :
Establish and maintain a robust governance framework for managing globalprocesses. Define policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency,compliance and alignment with industry best practices and regulatoryrequirements. Maintain comprehensivedocumentation of processes, improvements, and project progress.
Experience/Skill/Knowledge Requirements
Bachelor s
degree in engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or arelated field.
Workday
HCM Experience, specializing in includes but not limited to Workdayconfiguration, time-off plans, eligibility plans, groups, plans, rates, planyear definitions, benefits business processes and Workday auditing/reporting.
Proven
track record of successfully leading and delivering global processtransformation and improvement programs with significant impact on operationalefficiency, quality, and cost reduction
Experience
delivering business-centric, integrated technology solutions at aninternational scale
Strong
understanding of agile methodologies and product-centric operating models.
Can
successfully navigate a complex environment with project teams, businesspartners, leadership, external parties, and other stakeholders
Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
