Role Overview: Institutional Credit Managements (ICM) focuses on providing integrated credit underwriting, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit businesses. Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) In-Business Quality Assurance (QA) plays a crucial role within the ICM organization by ensuring that established standards and processes are consistently followed. As the WCR Head of In-Business QA, you will be responsible for reporting QAR results, identifying areas of improvement, and engaging with various stakeholders to enhance the management of wholesale credit risk. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Regional Lead of In-Business QA in implementing and maintaining a robust Quality Assurance function. - Challenge Underwriters and Regional Heads during QARs to ensure adherence to credit reviews and processes. - Aid in identifying, monitoring, and controlling wholesale credit risks within Citi in alignment with risk appetite and established policies. - Conduct consistent assessments during QARs for Institutional and Commercial Banking. - Follow up on corrective actions raised during QARs and prepare Quality Assurance Reports for WCR management. - Collaborate with Underwriting and 1LOD functions to ensure adequate quality assurance protocols for all portfolios. - Contribute to the establishment of WCR In-Business QA policies, procedures, risk assessment, and controls. - Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry news to support effective QA coverage. - Support internal projects and initiatives led by the WCR Head of In-Business QA Wholesale Lending Credit Risk. - Participate in ICM Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrable experience in assurance, corporate banking, credit risk management, internal audit, or quality assurance review function in a large commercial bank. - Knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes, organizational awareness, and understanding of policies and procedures. - Strong background in core credit analysis for large corporate and finance industries. - Ideally, a background as a credit officer or analyst with experience in credit functions. - High awareness and adherence to the control environment, including Quality Assurance. - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or related subject.
