Job Title: Two-Wheeler Washing Staff / Bike Washer Reports to: Service Manager / Workshop Manager Job Summary The Two-Wheeler Washing Staff is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of two-wheelers (motorcycles, scooters, etc.). The primary goal is to ensure vehicles are returned to the customer in a pristine and well-maintained condition. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a customer-centric attitude. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Vehicle Washing and Cleaning:Thoroughly wash and clean the exterior of two-wheelers, including the body, wheels, engine, and undercarriage, using pressure washers, brushes, and appropriate cleaning agents. Remove dirt, mud, grease, and other foreign materials. Dry and polish vehicles to prevent water spots and ensure a clean, streak-free finish. Apply wax or protective coatings as required. Clean and treat specific surfaces like plastic, chrome, and rubber. Detail difficult-to-reach areas to ensure complete cleanliness. Maintenance and Support:Assist in general service activities, such as preparing vehicles for mechanical work or a test drive. Perform basic cleaning of the engine and other mechanical components as part of the service process. Assist mechanics with cleaning and organizing the service department as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area, including cleaning drains, disposing of waste, and restocking supplies. Customer Service:Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Handle vehicles with care and attention to prevent any damage. Report any pre-existing damage or issues on the vehicle to the service manager before starting the wash. Provide prompt and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a car or two-wheeler washing or detailing role is preferred. Freshers with a strong willingness to learn will also be considered. Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, humid, etc.). Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, and lifting materials. Ability to handle and operate cleaning equipment and tools. Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Punctual, reliable, and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Polite and good communication skills. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Working Conditions: The work environment is a service center or wash bay, which can be loud and may involve exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, and grease. Must be able to adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
