Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Web Application Server (WAS) Technician with 5-10 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administration and technical problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Support and maintain application servers administration, including JBOSS, Weblogic, WebSphere, and content managers.
Utilize scripting skills in shell script and Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Develop and implement automation scripts for repetitive tasks, checks, preventive actions, and automatic incident resolution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and enhance infrastructure/platform performance.
Participate in infrastructure evolution, deployments, and validations activities.
Implement configuration changes, patches, and migrations using CRQs.

Job Requirements

More than 4 years of experience in web servers administration, including Apache, IIS, NGINX, Oracle HTTP Server, and UNIX/LINUX.
Strong knowledge of IT management tools such as ITSM Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira.
Experience with containers and microservices technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Basic knowledge of network and Linux environment administration.
Excellent technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as OBM and Dynatrace is desirable.
