Job Description

Mortgage Loan Underwriters/Analysts

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate mortgage loan applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and industry guidelines.
Review and analyze credit reports, income documents, asset statements, property appraisals, and other supporting documents.
Make underwriting decisions for
Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs
(for experienced candidates).
Approve, suspend, or deny loan applications based on risk assessment and company policies.
Communicate underwriting conditions and requirements clearly to loan processors and officers.
Ensure adherence to all federal and state lending regulations, company policies, and secondary market guidelines.
Maintain thorough documentation of underwriting decisions, risk assessments, and loan conditions.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure a smooth loan approval process.
Stay updated on lending regulations, mortgage industry trends, and underwriting best practices.
