Job Description

As a VTEX Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions using the VTEX platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital commerce experiences and extend VTEX capabilities to meet business needs. Job Details Job Title: VTEX Engineer Location: Bangalor, Chennai
Experience: 7+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years on VTEX platform

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement custom storefronts and backend components using VTEX IO and Store Framework.
Develop and maintain integrations with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, ERP systems, analytics tools).
Work with VTEX APIs, GraphQL, and RESTful services to build scalable solutions.
Optimize site performance, reliability, and user experience.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of the VTEX implementation.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software development, with 4+ years on VTEX platform.
Proficiency in VTEX IO, VTEX CMS, and custom app deployment.
Strong knowledge of React.JS, Next.JS, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
Experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
VTEX Developer Certification (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in e-commerce platforms and digital merchandising.
Understanding of omnichannel commerce and customer journey optimization.
