VP - Insurance

Role Overview: Angel One Limited, a leading Fintech company in India, is seeking a VP - Insurance to lead and grow their digital insurance vertical. As the VP - Insurance, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for insurance offerings, overseeing P&L, managing product development, operations, digital customer journey, and insurer relationships. This high-impact role requires expertise in insurance, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on driving growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Business Strategy & P&L Ownership - Define and execute the growth strategy for digital insurance. - Ensure achievement of business targets by owning the P&L. - Analyze business performance metrics to identify areas of growth or improvement. - Product & Digital Customer Journey - Collaborate with internal teams to create best-in-class digital insurance journeys. - Improve funnel conversion, upsell/cross-sell, and customer retention initiatives. - Identify opportunities to enhance product offerings and customer experience. - Operations & Process Excellence - Oversee day-to-day operations including onboarding, policy issuance, renewals, and claims coordination. - Drive process automation and operational efficiency through tech-led solutions. - Ensure adherence to SLAs, TATs, and customer satisfaction standards. - Insurer & Internal Stakeholder Management - Manage relationships with insurance companies for new products, pricing negotiations, and tech integration. - Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless execution of insurance operations. - Analytics & Reporting - Track key KPIs related to product performance, claims, NPS, revenue, and profitability. - Utilize customer and performance data to optimize pricing, product mix, and journey design. Qualifications Required: - 10-15 years of experience in insurance with exposure to product, operations, and digital distribution. - Strong understanding of regulatory landscape, compliance norms, and insurance operations. - Experience in digital platforms, fintech, or InsurTech is preferred. - Proven track record of owning P&L and scaling insurance business digitally. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills. *Additional Details:* Angel One Limited is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture rooted in celebrating individuality.
