Role Overview:

As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and communication channels. You will be responsible for editing video content for our social media channels that effectively showcase our mission, programs, and impact. Your work will directly contribute to reaching a wider audience and engaging more volunteers and supporters in our cause.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Empowering Tomorrow team to:

• Understand video content requirements and objectives.
• Abide by the social media posting schedule and spearhead the video editing assignments accordingly.
• Implement innovative design features for continuous enhancement in video content.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in industry-standard video editing software: Mastery of tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Wondershare Filmora, and others, ensuring seamless execution of editing tasks.
• Specialized experience in editing for social media platforms: Proven track record of adapting editing techniques to meet the unique requirements of platforms like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, maximizing engagement and impact.
• Deep understanding of video design principles: Demonstrated ability to apply fundamental principles of visual storytelling, including shot selection, pacing, transitions, and thematic coherence, to produce compelling and cohesive video content.
• Creative problem-solving prowess: Adept at overcoming challenges and finding innovative solutions during the editing process, while maintaining a keen eye for detail to achieve a polished final product.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills: Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with team members, ensuring alignment with cross-functional project objectives and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
