Our mission is to remove barriers in the path of learners seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge. Role Description This is a volunteer role for a Video Editor at Tools to Upskill. The Video Editor will create, edit, and enhance video content for our tutorials. Daily tasks include video production, video editing and adding motion graphics. This is a remote role. Qualifications Proficient in industry-standard video editing software: Mastery of tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Wondershare Filmora, and others, ensuring seamless execution of editing tasks. Specialized experience in editing for YouTube: Proven track record of adapting editing techniques to meet the unique requirements, maximizing engagement and impact. Deep understanding of video design principles: Demonstrated ability to apply fundamental principles of visual storytelling, including shot selection, pacing, transitions, and thematic coherence, to produce compelling and cohesive video content. Creative problem-solving prowess: Adept at overcoming challenges and finding innovative solutions during the editing process, while maintaining a keen eye for detail to achieve a polished final product. Strong communication and collaboration skills: Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with team members, ensuring alignment with cross-functional project objectives and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
