Voice Engineer

Role Overview: As an experienced engineer, your main responsibilities will include: - Debugging and analyzing engineering support requests to identify root causes and potential solutions. - Implementing configuration changes and providing workaround solutions when necessary. - Developing and enhancing internal automation tools to streamline support operations. - Monitoring and analyzing logs using OpenSearch or similar log management tools to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. - Collaborating closely with L3 Engineers, Product, and Engineering teams to improve system stability and enhance the overall support experience. - Contributing to documentation, FAQs, and internal knowledge bases to empower customer-facing teams with self-service solutions. - Conducting training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the platform understanding among customer-facing teams. Qualifications Required: To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing high-performance and resilient sip/rtp media processing applications. - Demonstrated history of building complex, high-performance, multi-threaded/multi-processor applications in modern C++ and C/Golang. - Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity, along with strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP, real-time media, and networking fundamentals. - Good knowledge of Linux with proven expertise in network and system performance optimizations, including kernel, containers, and virtualization technologies. - Prior experience working with Asterisk would be advantageous, and familiarity with rtpengine or freeswitch is a plus.,
