Job Description

Role Overview: As a Voice and Accent Trainer at the school, your primary responsibility will be to develop and refine the verbal communication skills of students. Your role is crucial in enhancing students" language proficiency, pronunciation, and overall communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop a comprehensive curriculum to improve students" voice and accent skills. - Create age-appropriate materials and activities to engage students in language and pronunciation exercises. - Plan and organize lessons that cater to the specific needs and skill levels of students. - Incorporate interactive and creative teaching methods to make learning enjoyable for students. - Conduct regular sessions to improve students" pronunciation, intonation, and articulation. - Provide feedback and corrections to help students overcome specific pronunciation challenges. - Identify and address regional accents or language habits that may hinder effective communication. - Implement strategies to help students reduce accents and speak in a neutral, clear manner. - Focus on developing overall communication skills, including listening, speaking, and responding appropriately. - Help students express themselves confidently and coherently in English. - Organise interactive activities, role-plays, and simulations to enhance practical communication skills. - Encourage participation and engagement in speaking exercises. - Provide one-on-one support to students who may need extra help with their voice and accent development. - Tailor lessons to accommodate individual learning styles and preferences. - Conduct regular assessments to measure students" progress in voice and accent improvement. - Provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and teachers on areas for improvement and success. - Collaborate with other language teachers and educators to integrate voice and accent training with the overall language curriculum. - Work closely with school staff to address any language-related challenges students may face. - Stay updated on language trends, teaching methodologies, and resources. - Attend workshops and conferences to enhance personal and professional voice and accent training skills. - Foster cultural sensitivity and awareness among students to promote effective cross-cultural communication. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field. - Certification in Voice and Accent Training or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) preferred. - Prior experience in teaching English language skills, voice and accent training, or related field. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels. - Passion for language teaching and cultural exchange.
