Vocational Trainer - Baking Technician And Craft Baker

Position: Vocational Trainer – Craft Baker Role Purpose To deliver high-quality training to students on the Craft Baker course (QP Code: FIC/Q5002, NSQF Level 4), equipping them with technical skills, food safety practices, employability skills, and entrepreneurial knowledge required to succeed in the bakery and confectionery industry. Key Responsibilities: Deliver classroom and practical training as per the prescribed curriculum, covering modules such as: Introduction to Food Processing & Craft Baker role Recipe development and ingredient preparation Baking techniques (breads, buns, cakes, cookies, puff pastries, rusks) Food safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Workplace health, safety, and emergency management Post-production handling, packaging, and presentation Employability and entrepreneurship skills Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) sessions and industry exposure visits. Ensure students gain hands-on experience with bakery tools, equipment, and techniques. Maintain training records, student attendance, and performance evaluations. Support students in preparing for assessments and certifications. Guide learners on career pathways, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurship opportunities. Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and safety standards during training sessions. Coordinate with school/centre staff for smooth execution of the program.
