VME-EA Senior Analyst

As a Senior Analyst in Economic Advisory at EY-VME, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in understanding the value of their business assets. Your responsibilities will involve working on multiple engagements related to Economic Impact assessments, econometric modelling/analysis, and research. You will be responsible for developing models using various techniques such as CBA Analysis, I/O Modelling, and CGE Modelling. Additionally, you will need to stay updated on current technology and tools to enhance service delivery and maintain positive relationships with EY offices globally. Key Responsibilities: - Work on Economic Impact assessments, econometric modelling/analysis, and research studies - Develop forecasting models using techniques like CBA Analysis, I/O Modelling, and CGE Modelling - Utilize current technology and tools to improve service effectiveness - Foster positive relationships with EY offices worldwide - Direct engagement progress, update supervisors, and manage staff performance - Continuously acquire knowledge for personal and team development To qualify for this role, you must have: - A postgraduate degree in Economics with 3 years of related work experience - Direct experience in the P&U domain with involvement in modeling, supply and demand estimation, pricing forecasting, and more - Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., Python or R), visualization tools, and MS Excel/VBA - Strong academic and professional background in Economics or related fields - Excellent communication, organizational, and teaming skills - Willingness to travel as required Qualification Required: - Postgraduate degree in Economics - 3 years of related work experience - Proficiency in statistical software packages and MS Excel/VBA - Strong academic background in Economics or related fields - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Willingness to travel EY offers a dynamic global delivery network that provides fulfilling career opportunities.
