Position:

About Us:

VMC Operator

The Role:

VMC Operator

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation:

Set up and operate
Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)
.
Load tools, fixtures, and workpieces with precision.
Ensure the correct calibration of machines for optimal accuracy.

Programming & Adjustment:

Read and interpret
engineering drawings, schematics, SOPs, and tooling instructions
.
Work with
Fanuc/Mitsubishi controllers
for programming and adjustments.
Edit
2D programming
as needed to ensure accuracy in machining.

Quality Control & Inspection:

Conduct first-article and in-process inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
Utilize measuring tools such as
micrometers, calipers, and gauges
.
Maintain production and inspection records accurately.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Identify and resolve machining issues related to
tool wear, programming errors, or machine malfunctions
.
Perform routine machine maintenance and tool changes.

Safety & Documentation:

Follow all
safety protocols
to prevent accidents and ensure a clean workspace.
Maintain accurate logs of
production data, maintenance activities, and quality checks
.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and fellow team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Provide feedback on process improvements and quality enhancements.
