Job Description

Should have good knowledge on 3axis machining
Should have good knowledge on all types of measuring instruments i.e., venire caliper, micro meter, thickness guage
Should have basic knowledge on 2D CNC programming basics
Should have good knowledge on cutting tools, cutting parameters & cutting feed
Should be responsible to match production Cycle time.
Should be responsible for regular attendance and avoiding shift changes.
Should ensure zero rejections
Should be responsible for proper handling and maintenance of Cutting tool and fixture
Should be responsible for cleanliness of machine and its surroundings
Should be responsible for daily maintenance and checking of the machine like lubrication oil, lubricant grease, Coolent, chiller oil, hydraulic oil
Should be responsible for doing stage inspection by operators them self
Should be responsible for giving information regarding idle running to programmers
Should be responsible for proper maintaining of log books
Should be responsible for carrying out the production as per the instructions
Should be responsible for producing quality products
Should be responsible for reducing the rework and rejects
Should be responsible for informing the Incharge of any deviations
Should be responsible for on time delivery
Should be responsible for online inspection & maintaining inspection logbooks.
Should be responsible for maintaining machine hour logbooks
Should be responsible to handover the shift details with the production status
Should be responsible for timely information towards any deviation in parts.

Key Performance Indicator to be achieved by the role holder include
Percentage of reduction and Rejects
Percentage of decrease in Rework
No.of Kaizens
On time delivery
Zero accidents
