Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Visual Editor to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about post-production, audience retention strategies, and delivering visually compelling edits for educational YouTube content, particularly in the medical, scientific, and academic domains. If you excel at AI image generation, motion graphics, B-roll curation, and Photoshop-based thumbnail design, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

•Edit long-form & short-form YouTube videos using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

•Animate and simplify complex medical/scientific concepts using After Effects or similar tools.

•Curate & integrate engaging B-roll aligned with the script to boost retention.

•Select suitable background music from sources like Epidemic Sound.

•Collaborate with scriptwriters & content creators to bring ideas to life.

•Design scroll-stopping thumbnails exclusively in Photoshop (mandatory).

•Work seamlessly via Frame.io, Trello, Slack, or shared folders.

•Deliver consistent, high-quality edits within deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

•Advanced skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

• Preferably Science background

•Strong proficiency in Photoshop (thumbnails only)

•Experience with premium plugin libraries (e.g., Motion VFX)

•Proven YouTube editing experience (preferably medical/science/education content)

•Ability to create AI-generated visuals (Midjourney, Leonardo, OpenArt.AI)

•Strong sense of storytelling, pacing & visual emphasis

•Excellent communication, reliability & time management

•Awareness of US/international cultures & interest in English pop music

Bonus Points If You:

•Understand YouTube retention tactics & visual storytelling best practices

•Can visually highlight complex medical/scientific concepts with clarity

•Have experience in photography or framing visuals for storytelling
