Visa Counsellor

Job Title: Visa Counsellor Department: Immigration & Overseas Education / Consultancy Location: [Mohali Punjab] Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate counselling to clients regarding various countries’ visa processes (student, work, tourist, and dependent visas). Assess client profiles and recommend suitable visa options based on eligibility and requirements. Assist in compiling and reviewing required documentation for visa applications. Guide clients in filling out visa forms, preparing SOPs, cover letters, and financial documents. Stay updated on immigration policies, embassy regulations, and documentation changes. Maintain client records, application status updates, and follow-up communications. Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa processing centres as required. Handle client queries professionally and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for visa applications and conversions. Conduct pre-departure briefings for clients to ensure smooth travel and settlement. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Immigration, International Business, or related field). Prior experience in visa counselling / overseas education / immigration consultancy (minimum 1–3 years preferred). Strong understanding of visa regulations, embassy procedures, and international travel guidelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Customer-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Fluency in English (additional languages will be an advantage).
