Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Virtual Car Inspector to join our AU Unit. In this role, you will conduct virtual inspections of used cars listed by sellers in the Australian market. You will guide customers through video-based inspections, ensuring accurate reporting of vehicle condition, and help maintain CARS24’s high standards of trust and transparency. Key Responsibilities: Conduct live, remote car inspections via video calls with customers based in Australia. Guide sellers through the step-by-step inspection process, covering interior, exterior, engine, tyres, and documentation. Assess the condition of vehicles based on visual cues, customer inputs, and checklist criteria. Capture and document inspection results accurately using internal tools and platforms. Coordinate with sales and operations teams to finalize car listings and verify information. Flag any discrepancies, damage, or potential concerns identified during inspections. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining a courteous and professional approach. Adhere to Australian market-specific inspection guidelines and standards. Requirements: 1–5 years of experience in vehicle inspection, automobile service, or related roles (virtual or in-person). Strong understanding of car components, conditions, and inspection criteria. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). Comfortable working in Australian business hours. Ability to manage video calls, multitask, and use inspection/CRM software efficiently. Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
