About the Role:

We’re seeking enthusiastic and skilled Video Processing App Developer Interns to help us build powerful, creative video experiences for the Challenz app. You’ll be working on features that enable users to capture, edit, and share TikTok-style challenge videos with filters, effects, and real-time rendering—all while ensuring seamless playback and optimized storage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance video capture, editing, and uploading workflows
• Implement real-time filters, transitions, and effects for video challenges
• Optimize video playback, compression, and storage integration with Supabase
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to support a high-performance media pipeline

Required Skills:

• Experience with React Native / Expo
• Basic backend development skills in Node.js / Express.js
• Proficiency with video tools/libraries: FFmpeg, AVFoundation, OpenGL, or Metal
• Understanding of video encoding, GPU rendering, and compression techniques

Nice to Have:

• Experience building TikTok-style short video apps or challenge features
• Familiarity with AR filters, video stickers, or audio syncing
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and Supabase and Cloudflare R2 integration
