a story-driven Video Editor

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce long-form podcast episodes (60–90 min) for YouTube and audio platforms.

• Cut 8 – 12 shorts per week from each episode for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

• Design visually engaging titles, captions, and motion graphics aligned with the Podcast aesthetic.

• Enhance audio, color grade, and balance sound levels to professional quality.

• Maintain a consistent visual language across all formats.

• Work with creative and social teams to craft stories that make people pause, think, and come back.

• Stay updated on editing trends, styles, formats optimized for longform and shortform storytelling.

Qualifications

• 1 – 3 years of experience in video editing for podcasts, YouTube, or short-form content.

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut for reels).

• Strong sense of pacing, tone, and narrative editing — knowing what to cut and what to let breathe.

• Experience with sound design and basic color correction.

• Ability to translate emotion into visual rhythm through cuts and music choices.

• Collaborative mindset — comfortable working with producers, hosts, and strategists.

• Fluency in English (required); Telugu understanding (preferred).

• Sound Mixing / Mastering

• Story Editing & Narrative Structure

• Time Management & Multi-project Handling

Performance Metrics

• Publish 8 – 12 high-retention shorts per week.

• Deliver long-form episodes and shorts within 48 hours of recording.

• Build a cohesive visual identity for Zero Protocol across platforms.
