Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Editing Intern to join our content team. In this role, you’ll work closely with content creators to edit short-form YouTube videos using green screen footage, motion graphics, and simple animations. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced content environment and contribute directly to our growing YouTube channel.

Responsibilities

● Edit and produce high-quality green screen shorts for YouTube using provided raw footage.

● Add backgrounds, overlays, motion graphics, and effects to enhance visual storytelling.

● Create and animate simple 2D visual elements (e.g., icons, transitions, character movement) for short videos.

● Trim, color-correct, and adjust audio levels for short-form content.

● Collaborate with scriptwriters and voice-over artists to synchronize visuals and audio.

● Organize and manage video assets, templates, and project files.

● Suggest creative video formats and styles aligned with current YouTube trends.

Requirements

● Basic proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

● Familiarity with After Effects, Blender, or other animation tools is a plus.

● Understanding of green screen keying, masking, and background replacement.

● Basic knowledge of YouTube Shorts format, resolution, and best practices.

● A good eye for timing, transitions, and pacing in short-form video content.

● Ability to work independently with creative direction and feedback. What You’ll Learn

Preferred Qualifications

● Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Film, Animation, Multimedia, or related field.

● Portfolio or demo reel showcasing any form of video/animation work (can be personal projects).
