Role Description

Video Editor

full-time, on-site role

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging news, video stories, reels, and news segments.
• Apply color grading, audio balancing, and transitions for professional output.
• Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and branding elements.
• Collaborate with the newsroom team to develop creative video concepts.
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Stay updated on social media trends and storytelling styles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in

  Video Editing & Post-Production

  (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve or even Filmora).
• Skills in

  Color Grading

  ,

  Motion Graphics

  , and

  Audio Syncing

  .
• Creative storytelling sense and sharp news judgment.
• Ability to handle both long-format content (interviews, reports) and short-form videos (reels, promos).
• Knowledge of media formats for

  YouTube, Instagram, and web publishing

  .
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience in media, journalism, or digital content creation is a strong plus.
• Degree/diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of

  After Effects

  CapCut Pro

  for quick turnaround content.
• Basic camera handling or cinematography experience.
• Interest in current affairs and news production.
