Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for branding, marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects. The role includes working with raw footage, adding transitions, performing color grading, and creating engaging reels and long-form videos. The editor must be proficient in professional editing software and have a strong sense of storytelling.

Key Results Areas (KRAs)

A. Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos.
• Add transitions, effects, subtitles, animations, and sound elements.
• Perform color correction and color grading.
• Create short-form content such as reels, shorts, and teasers.

B. Creative Support for Marketing

• Collaborate with the marketing team for campaign videos.
• Edit content for branding, education, and client projects.
• Ensure video style, tone, and branding remain consistent.
• Provide creative input on scripts, shots, and visual style.

C. Project Management

• Manage and organize project files properly.
• Deliver videos on time while maintaining quality.
• Maintain different formats and versions of delivered videos.

D. Communication & Coordination

• Work closely with graphic designers and content creators.
• Understand project briefs clearly before starting edits.
• Make revisions as needed based on internal feedback.

Required Skills

Core Software Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• (CapCut / DaVinci Resolve is an added advantage)

Core Skills

• Strong sense of visual storytelling & pacing
• Knowledge of motion graphics basics
• Understanding of transitions, color grading, audio balancing
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Required Experience

• 1.5 to 2 years of video editing experience.
• Portfolio or sample work required.

Salary Range

• Up to ₹25,000 per month (based on skills & experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
