Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer located in Chennai and Hyderabad. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will oversee the hospital’s entire IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient systems to support healthcare delivery. This includes managing servers, networks, data centers, cybersecurity, and hardware/software systems in compliance with healthcare regulations. Plan, implement, and manage the hospital’s IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, wireless, servers, and storage systems.Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of critical hospital systems (EMR/EHR, PACS, LIS, HIS, etc.). Maintain cybersecurity protocols and compliance with healthcare data protection laws (e.g., HIPAA, NABH). Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations. Key Responsibilities: Enter patient registration details and scan/test requests into the system accurately. Upload and manage radiology images and reports in the RIS/HIS. Coordinate with radiology technicians and radiologists to ensure proper tagging of patient scans. Generate, print, and dispatch reports to patients or concerned departments after verification. Ensure the correct test name, patient details, and consultant signatures are reflected in reports. Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and reports. Track pending reports and ensure timely completion and delivery. Assist radiologists in maintaining daily logs and preparing workload or productivity reports.
