About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing content team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone who understands short-form, social-first video, is confident using CapCut, and can work efficiently with templates, transitions, and effects to produce engaging content for multiple platforms.

You will work closely with the social and content team to edit videos for Instagram, TikTok, ads, and brand campaigns, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines and current trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, ads, etc.)
• Use CapCut confidently, including:
• Templates
• Trending effects and transitions
• Text animations and overlays
• Edit content in both portrait (9:16) and landscape (16:9) formats
• Apply music, sound effects, captions, and basic motion graphics where required
• Ensure edits are on-brand, visually engaging, and optimized for performance
• Manage multiple edits at once while meeting deadlines
• Collaborate with content creators, social managers, and marketing teams
• Stay up to date with social media trends, viral formats, and editing styles

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (social media/digital content preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of CapCut (mandatory)
• Experience working with templates, effects, and transitions
• Ability to edit both portrait and landscape videos
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and social media formats
• Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience editing TikTok Shop or e-commerce content
• Knowledge of Instagram & TikTok trends
• Basic filming skills using phone or camera
• Experience with other editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
