About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and creatively driven Video Editor who can turn raw footage into compelling visual stories. Whether it's short-form content like reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts or long-form videos like interviews and product explainers, you should know how to create content that captures attention and keeps viewers engaged.

This role goes beyond cutting clips—you’ll be shaping stories, setting tones, and elevating each frame with thoughtful transitions, effects, and audio design. If you see video editing as both a technical craft and a storytelling medium, this is for you.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end video editing process—from organizing footage to final exports.
• 
  
• Edit high-performing short-form and long-form content for various digital platforms.
• 
  
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, writers, and marketers to execute shared visions and elevate video output.
• 
  
• Add the right pacing, mood, and rhythm to each video through sound design, music, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• 
  
• Stay current with content trends and platform-specific best practices.
• 
  
• Deliver edits that are clean, on-brand, and creatively engaging.

What We're Looking For

• Strong storytelling instincts and a sharp eye for detail.

• Proficiency in leading editing tools:
• 
  
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• 
  
• After Effects
• 
  
• DaVinci Resolve
• 
  
• Any other tools you love and rely on
• 
  
• Understanding of how to use sound design, SFX, transitions, and VFX to enhance viewer experience.
• 
  
• Ability to work efficiently and independently without compromising quality.
• 
  
• Solid portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your skills across different formats and styles.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with Maya or other 3D/motion tools.
• 
  
• Experience in content-focused, fast-paced environments (media, agency, digital-first teams).
• 
  
• Ability to conceptualize and pitch creative video ideas—not just execute given briefs.
• 
  
• Strong grasp of typography, color grading, and animation fundamentals.
