Are you a creative and technically skilled Video Editor with a passion for storytelling and a unique talent for working across multiple languages? Purplex Media is seeking a dynamic Multilingual Video Editor to join our growing creative team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing a wide range of video content, from fast-paced, viral short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) to compelling long-form features. You must be fully proficient in Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English to create content that resonates with our diverse audiences. This is a crucial role where you will shape our visual narrative and drive engagement across various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, etc.) optimized for various social media platforms.
• Craft compelling narratives for long-form content, including interviews, tutorials, promotional videos, and vlogs.
• Seamlessly integrate and edit content in Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy.
• Add dynamic subtitles, graphics, and text overlays in all four required languages.
• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and sound design to ensure high-quality output.
• Collaborate closely with our content creators, marketing team, and producers to understand project goals and deliver on the creative vision.
• Manage and organize video files, project assets, and final deliverables in a systematic way.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, social media trends, and software updates to keep our content fresh and innovative.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: MUST be professionally fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Experience: 2+ years of proven professional experience as a Video Editor.
• Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your expertise in both short-form (Reels/Shorts) and long-form video editing is required. Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Cloud apps like After Effects and Photoshop is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and best practices for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Creative Mindset: Excellent sense of pacing, timing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to editing, ensuring high standards for audio and visual quality.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
