Job Summary

Join a creative and fast-growing French language education brand! We are seeking a skilled Video Editor with strong videography abilities and expertise in modern editing tools. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to transform educational and promotional content into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit educational videos, French teaching content, TEF explanation clips, reels, shorts, and promotional content.
• Use editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, PhotoRoom and DaVinci Resolve to produce high-quality output.
• Apply transitions, motion graphics, colour grading, captions, effects, and storytelling elements based on brand guidelines.
• Ensure all videos align with the required tone, pace, and learning objectives.

Videography

• Record high-quality footage for educational videos, studio shoots, reels, interviews, and promotional campaigns.
• Set up lighting, framing, audio, and camera settings to ensure professional output.
• Work closely with the SMM and faculty team to capture planned content efficiently.

Brand Consistency & Creative Direction

• Maintain consistent brand style across all video formats and platforms.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to understand visual direction, required themes, and content flow.
• Suggest creative ideas for content improvement, visual storytelling, and new formats.

Content Preparation & Delivery

• Export videos in appropriate formats for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other social platforms.
• Organise raw footage, project files, and final edits systematically for internal reference.
• Deliver drafts and final versions within agreed timelines.

Quality Control

• Ensure crisp audio, accurate subtitles (if added), clean cuts, and error-free final output.
• Review each project carefully to maintain professional standards before publishing.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing and basic-professional videography.
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• PhotoRoom
• DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, and social-media-friendly editing styles.
• The Video Editor must be proficient in creating engaging, high-impact short-form content, including viral social media reels and videos.
• Possessing foundational to intermediate graphic design skills is highly desirable.
• Ability to record high-quality video content using DSLR / mirrorless cameras or professional smartphones.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to adapt to evolving content needs.
• Ability to work closely with the SMM team and follow given directions effectively.
