Role Description This is a full-time role for a Video Editor, located on-site in Kolkata. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content, providing video color grading, creating motion graphics, and working closely with the production team. Daily tasks will include assembling raw footage, selecting usable sequences, and fine-tuning video and audio tracks to ensure professional and polished final products. The role also involves collaborating with the graphics team to integrate visuals seamlessly into video projects. Qualifications Video Production, Video Editing, and Video Color Grading skills Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities Excellent collaboration and communication skills Ability to work on-site in Kolkata Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, ads, corporate films, and YouTube videos Add graphics, text overlays, transitions, music, and sound effects Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand video objectives Maintain brand consistency and adhere to project timelines Manage and organize video files, project backups, and versioning Stay updated with editing trends and platform-specific video formats Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field 2–3 years of proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve Knowledge of Motion Graphics, Graphics and Basic Animation is a plus Strong storytelling sense, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing and transitions Show more Show less
