Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of editing workflows, a flair for visual storytelling, and the ability to adapt content for multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and podcasts. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, creativity, and efficiency to deliver engaging video assets for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content for podcasts, branded content, marketing campaigns, and social media.
• Create short-form and long-form edits optimized for platforms like YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Collaborate with the production, design, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in branding and storytelling.
• Add graphics, animations, text overlays, sound effects, and music where required.
• Maintain an organized workflow for media assets and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, formats, and tools to create content that resonates with digital-first audiences.
• Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and legal/rights compliance when working with third-party assets.

Requirements

• 3 years of professional video editing experience (media, production house, or digital-first platforms preferred).
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics tools is a plus.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Understanding of social media video formats and best practices.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and willingness to experiment with new styles and formats.

Nice to Have

• Experience in podcast video editing or audio-first content adaptation.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO, thumbnail creation, and metadata optimization.
• Knowledge of color grading and sound mixing.
• Interest in podcasts, digital media, and storytelling.
