Job Description

Job Title:* Video Editor – Political Content

Location:* Pune, Maharashtra
Experience:* 4+ Years
Language Requirement:* Marathi (Mandatory)

About The Role

DesignBoxed is looking for a dynamic and skilled *Video Editor* with experience in the *political communication space* to join our team in *Pune. The ideal candidate should have a sharp, creative eye, a deep understanding of storytelling for digital platforms, and the ability to craft compelling visual narratives that align with political strategies. Proficiency in **Marathi* is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-quality videos (interviews, rallies, short reels, documentaries, etc.) for digital platforms including YouTube, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook
Work closely with content, strategy, and design teams to deliver fast-paced, engaging political content
Add subtitles, graphics, motion elements, and transitions as per the campaign style guide
Ensure all videos are brand-compliant and linguistically and culturally appropriate for the Marathi-speaking audience
Manage and organise raw footage, edit timelines, and deliver multiple versions when required
Stay updated with political events, news, and trends to incorporate them creatively into video content
Handle tight deadlines and adapt to last-minute changes

Key Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a political or fast-paced media environment
Proficiency in *Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro*, and other industry-standard editing tools

* Strong command over *Marathi language* (spoken and written) is *mandatory*

Good sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Flexibility to work during odd hours based on campaign needs
Understanding of political landscapes and nuances is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Film, Media, Communication, or related field
Experience in political campaigns or working with political leaders or parties
Location:* Pune (On-site role)
Joining:* Immediate or within 15 days preferred
