Key Responsibilities

1. Content Editing & Post-Production

• Edit influencer-generated content including Reels, Shorts, product reviews, podcasts, vlogs, and brand ads.
• Add transitions, effects, animations, and dynamic elements to make content engaging and high-retention.
• Select the best shots, sync audio, and refine pacing according to brand tone and platform norms.
• Color correction, sound balancing, and overall post-production finishing.

2. Social Media Expertise

• Edit videos specifically optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and other short-form video platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with latest editing trends, viral formats, audio trends, and platform algorithm updates.
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form versions based on platform requirements.

3. Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the Strategy, Planning, Creator, and Campaign teams to understand the creative vision.
• Suggest creative ideas, visual treatments, hooks, and edits to enhance content performance.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, messaging, and campaign objectives.

4. Asset Management

• Maintain an organized library of footage, project files, templates, and exported final versions.
• Ensure timely delivery of all edits, often with quick turnarounds.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization.

5. Quality Control

• Ensure all edits meet brand quality standards and platform specifications.
• Deliver high-quality videos free of glitches, rendering issues, watermark errors, or formatting mistakes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (agency or influencer marketing preferred).
• Proficiency in editing software such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve

  , After Effects (bonus).
• Strong understanding of

  Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and UGC video formats

  .
• Ability to think creatively, propose fresh ideas, and add storytelling depth to raw content.
• Strong sense of typography, transitions, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of sound design, motion graphics, and color grading is a plus.
