Vice President of Engineering

As a VP - Engineering at Ness, you will be responsible for providing technology leadership, vision, and guidance to the engineering and product development teams. You will play a key role in driving innovation in product development to solve business problems effectively. Your main responsibilities will include: - Delivering customer-focused business outcomes using Java full-stack/Cloud computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) - Managing P&L, Gross Margins, and contributing to the growth of the business with superior delivery - Ensuring timely delivery of all projects, managing scope changes effectively, and converting them into revenue - Leading customer relations and management at the organization level - Providing predictability, productivity, and quality through defined processes that increase speed-to-value and institutionalizing Agile practices - Leading a 500+ member delivery function team - Identifying and evaluating opportunities for organization-led innovation and development - Leading talent transformation charter by retaining and attracting top talent, upskilling, cross-skilling, and certifications - Collaborating with peers to ensure organizational goals are met Qualifications: - A coach, leader, mentor, thinker, and innovator - Hands-on expertise in converting a product roadmap to an engineering roadmap - Experience in product lifecycle development and various roles in different lifecycle stages for the last 15-20 years - Extremely customer-centric with the ability to lead customer relations at the organization level - Up to date with industry trends and new technologies - Tech-savvy with a passion for IP building and development - Experience with IP Led transformation models - Hands-on experience in product engineering, design, and architecture - Flexible, open to change, and promoting innovation - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Excellent people management and leadership skills - Effective communication with employees at all levels Required Skills: - Hands-on expertise in converting a product roadmap to an engineering roadmap - Expertise in product lifecycle development - Extremely customer-centric - Up to date with the industry and new technologies - Tech-savvy and innovative mindset - Experience with IP Led transformation models - Hands-on experience in product engineering, design, and architecture - Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills - Excellent people management and leadership skills - Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels Preferred Skills: - Experience leading and managing large teams - Experience in a product company Ness is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.,
