Vice President of Engineering

As a VP Engineering at Ness, you will be responsible for providing technology leadership, vision, and guidance to the engineering and product development teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Driving innovation in product development and delivering customer-focused business outcomes using Java fullstack/Cloud computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) with at least one industry deep domain experience. - Managing P&L, Gross Margins, and contributing to business growth through superior delivery. - Ensuring timely project delivery, managing scope changes effectively, and converting them into revenue opportunities. - Leading customer relations and management at the organizational level. - Ensuring positive business outcomes by implementing defined processes that increase speed-to-value, institutionalize Agile practices, and develop roadmaps for long-term value enhancement. - Leading a 500+ member delivery function team with a product engineering background. - Identifying and evaluating opportunities for organization-led innovation and development to meet stakeholder requirements. - Leading talent transformation initiatives including retaining and attracting top talent, upskilling, cross-skilling, and certifications. - Collaborating with peers to ensure organizational goals are achieved. Your experience and expertise should include: - Being a coach, leader, mentor, thinker, and innovator. - Hands-on expertise in converting product roadmaps to engineering roadmaps. - Expertise in product lifecycle development with over 20 years of experience in various roles. - Customer-centric approach with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies. - Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for IP building and development. - Experience with IP Led transformation models such as Assets, Frameworks, Accelerators, POCs, and Patents. - Strong background in product engineering, design, and architecture, guiding the team in pre-sales and execution. - Flexibility to embrace change and foster an innovative culture. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Excellent people management and leadership skills, maintaining high work standards and promoting integrity, respect, and confidentiality. - Effective communication skills across all levels of employees, from entry-level to Global Leadership.
