Description Role: Microsoft API Architect: 12 to 15 years of experience. Lead the design of modern C# API solutions and drive architecture best practices leveraging AI enabled modernization. About the Program: We are executing a modernization program aimed at transforming SQL Server stored procedures into a scalable, secure, and high-performance C# API-based architecture for a major payment's platform. This initiative leverages advanced AI and Generative AI technologies to streamline and accelerate the modernization process. It offers an excellent opportunity for candidates to not only contribute to a cutting-edge transformation effort but also to gain hands-on experience with the latest advancements in AI/GenAI. This role enables candidates to work on innovative API modernization while building valuable expertise in next-generation AI technologies. Roles and Responsibilities: Design and oversee API solutions, ensure architectural integrity, provide technical leadership, and mentor development teams. Define scalable API-based architectural patterns. Provide technical leadership to development teams. Mentor engineers on best practices. Implement Auth on the API Implement the right design patterns Work with test automation engineers to implement automated API testing Ensure architectural consistency and modern design approaches. Collaborate on AI/GenAI experts to get the desired output Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, WAF) as common components Key Skills Required: Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core Strong expertise in API design and Implementation API architecture design Deep experience in SQL Server Stored Procedures Microservices and modular architecture Cloud-native development Code modernization patterns
