Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering

As Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering at Fiserv, you will collaborate closely with CTO/portfolio leaders and CIO teams across various technologies such as cloud, observability platforms, container technologies, event streaming, messaging, middleware, and network/firewall operations and engineering. Your primary responsibility will be managing a significant portion of the global organization in Global Services, focusing on enhancing efficiency through automation, optimization, and modernizing service delivery. Your expertise in technical infrastructure and global leadership will play a vital role in overseeing operations and engineering functions. Additionally, you are expected to exhibit a commercial orientation, operational excellence, and a keen interest in emerging technologies and frameworks. - **Ownership of end-to-end product/portfolio operating model within FTS** - **Engage with key business stakeholders regularly to understand their needs and drive high stakeholder satisfaction** - **Serve as the single point of accountability and escalation to CIOs and the FTS organization for technology services** - **Ensure platform stability, risk reduction, and ongoing lifecycle hygiene through best practices adoption** - **Oversee the remediation of known risks and foster a culture of risk identification and reduction** - **Ensure compliance with Global Cybersecurity standards and procedures** - **Drive efficient technology outcomes by leveraging initiative management, new product adoption, automation, and lifecycle management** - **Partner with CIO teams to define and execute critical business objectives** - **Advocate for ownership and accountability for the technology change roadmap** - **Drive engineering and innovation culture and develop high-performing teams** - **Experience in building, improving, and sustaining ongoing operational support for infrastructure** - **Co-ownership in driving transformational improvements to product deployments** - **Ownership of level 2 and 3 support for all assigned infrastructure** - **Prioritization, coordination, and flawless implementation of business and technology projects** - **Management of high-performing and highly available infrastructure components** - **Collaboration with global technology functions to deliver technology standards across regions** - **Development and evaluation of technology plans, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals and standards** - **Management of third-party processors, hardware & software vendors, and external infrastructure providers** - **Leadership and team-building skills with a proven track record of successfully leading technical teams** - **Capability to quickly learn new technologies and familiarity with agile and DevOps cultures** The role at Fiserv is based in Pune and requires overlap with US working hours, with flexibility for critical activities outside business hours and weekends.,
