Vice President - Commercial Investment Banking Payments Planning & Analysis

Join our team to promote budgeting and forecasting processes, create management reports and presentations as part of our Planning and Analysis. Job Responsibilities: Prepare, consolidate, review, and analyze various financial activities, including budget and mid-year forecast, financial updates for the Board, Operating Committee, and Regulators, quarterly earnings, balance sheet analysis, Net Interest Income (NII), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) analytics, and business performance drivers analysis. Execute the above processes focusing on accuracy and timely delivery as per prescribed timelines. Analyze line of business (LOB) models, earnings sensitivities, and strategic initiatives to enhance understanding of individual LOB financial performance. Lead additional one-off and repeatable analyses as requested by senior management. Effectively communicate and coordinate with LOBs and corporate functions such as External Reporting, Investor Relations, and CFA. Provide support for ad hoc projects as needed. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 8+ years of professional experience in handling large datasets, analyzing P&L, and balance sheet drivers. Previous finance/planning role experience in banking or financial services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong skills in Alteryx, Python, and Tableau for process automation. Experience in financial consolidation, review, analysis, and presentation. Familiarity with internal financial systems like Essbase and Hyperion. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills with a proven track record of meeting deliverables. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as relationship management abilities. Detail-oriented with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
