Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Ecosystem Growth

  • Define and execute the

    national channel and retail strategy

    , ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Drive expansion into underpenetrated markets through scalable franchise and partner programs.
  • Own the Channel & Retail

    P&L

    ; monitor performance across zones through structured governance reviews.
  • Champion the shift from volume growth to

    value-based partner engagement

    and network profitability.

2. Channel Partner & Franchise Management

  • Oversee a vast network of

    6,000+ partners

    and

    4,000+ employees

    via zonal leadership.
  • Build a future-ready partner ecosystem — developing partner capabilities, profitability, and retention through structured enablement programs.
  • Introduce data-backed channel health metrics to measure productivity, satisfaction, and ROI.
  • Lead partner engagement, grievance resolution, and long-term relationship management initiatives.

3. Retail & Customer Experience Transformation

  • Expand the retail footprint and drive brand consistency across outlets (franchise and company-owned).
  • Integrate tech-enabled retail models to enhance visibility, footfall conversion, and customer service quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing for retail activation campaigns, loyalty programs, and customer engagement.

4. Governance, People, and Performance

  • Develop and mentor zonal business heads and next-line leaders, fostering a performance-driven, collaborative culture.
  • Establish channel audit mechanisms and financial discipline across franchise operations.
  • Partner with HR and L&D to design training programs for channel sales teams and franchise owners.

5. Strategic Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with Operations, Product, and Finance teams to deliver cohesive channel-driven business outcomes.
  • Represent the channel function in strategic leadership forums and industry collaborations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience:

    18–25 years, with extensive exposure to multi-zone channel leadership and franchise network development.
  • Industry:

    Logistics, Express, E-commerce, Telecom, FMCG, or Insurance.
  • Competencies:

    Strategic foresight, partner management, operational governance, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Leadership Style:

    Empathetic, relationship-driven, with strong commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Education:

    MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree preferred.
