Vice President- Bereavements

As a Vice President- Bereavements at Barclays, you will be responsible for running an operations unit across cities and sites, ensuring process performance in line with SLA and targets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and developing a highly engaged team to achieve excellent customer outcomes - Maintaining active performance management standards and inspiring colleagues to achieve goals - Day to day running of the business, developing an effective business plan and driving sustainable revenue growth - Conducting market research to identify opportunities and understand market trends - Cultivating a resolution culture and empowering colleagues to deal with customer requests effectively - Ensuring operational performance and adherence to risk frameworks - Creating a culture focused on building deeper customer relationships and contributing to Barclays" success To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline, preferably an MBA/ PGDBM from a reputed institute - 13-18 years of work experience with at least 3 years at a senior managerial level - Experience in leading Financial Services BPOs/Large BPO setup is desirable - Prior experience in Customer Service with good knowledge of financial services/ Banking industry - Excellent communication skills and experience in leading different channels like back office, chat, and voice operations - Experience in process design/redesign, LEAN, six-sigma, and strategic planning - Familiarity with RPA, robotic projects, relevant legislation, and regulatory requirements - Strong industry understanding, business processes, and operating procedures - Flexibility to work shifts and Indian holidays Some additional highly valued skills may include knowledge of UK Retail Banking Operations, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise.
