Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for operation and maintenance of escalators, travelators, and elevators across terminal buildings.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal uptime of all vertical transportation systems.
Supervise and coordinate with OEMs and AMC vendors for timely servicing and breakdown response.
Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with OEM and regulatory standards.
Monitor system performance and maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and corrective actions.
Troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and airport operational guidelines.
Review and verify service reports, checklists, and vendor performance KPIs.
Maintain inventory of critical spares and ensure availability for emergency repairs

Preferred candidate profile

Mechanical Engineer with 45 years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of escalators, travelators, and elevators at CSMIA.
