Vertical Lead - Automotives

As a Key Account Manager in the freight forwarding industry, your primary responsibility will be to deliver the sales budget for end-to-end freight forwarding and drive initiatives to increase engagement with key customers. You will be managing and growing 10 to 12 accounts directly, maintaining regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and taking ownership of the P&L for the specific vertical to drive business growth. Additionally, you will support customer engagement, ensure best-in-class pipeline hygiene, and govern sales call processes with business associates. Your role will also involve systematic gathering of vertical intelligence and insights, capturing specific needs from client engagements, and formulating value propositions and integrated solution offerings for the vertical. You will collaborate with designated functional teams to define packages and pricing guidelines to meet customer requirements effectively. In terms of business development and growth, you will support sales teams in key pursuits, expand client scope of work through senior-level engagement, and drive expansion within the organization. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building effective vertical communities within Adani Ports & Logistics. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or related field) - Master's degree (MBA in operations, Strategy, or supply chain Management) - 10+ years in a customer-facing sales role within the freight forwarding or logistics industry - Proven success in developing and winning new customer business through personal and collaborative efforts - Demonstrated leadership experience - Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels - Results-oriented mindset with a focus on teamwork and collaboration - Ability to build strategic partnerships with customers and problem-solving skills.,
