Vertex BD CAD Professional

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and backup to senior staff as required on various projects.
• Create Vertex-based building details in collaboration with in-house structural engineers.
• Prepare codes and assembly drawings for manufacturing clients.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with manufacturing clients.
• Develop and maintain BIM models using Vertex.
• Conduct project-related research as directed by senior staff.
• Prepare structural details and documentation as required by Senior Structural Engineers.
• Assist other members of Evolusion in various company-related tasks when needed.
• Maintain strict file management and naming conventions in accordance with the Evolusion ISO management system and procedures.
• Upload, publish, and download information from shared platforms such as Procore, 4Projects, etc.
• Record and track billable hours daily, ensuring timely and accurate time entries.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects for drawing work, report preparation, file management, generating PDFs, and extracting 2D drawings from 3D BIM models.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD drafting using Vertex BD.
• Experience working on residential or commercial projects.
