Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Identify, source, and onboard
new ethnic wear vendors
(sarees, kurtis, lehengas, etc.) from
Surat
.
Build and maintain a strong
vendor database
including
Meesho, Flipkart, and Amazon sellers
.
Negotiate pricing, margins, and delivery timelines for value-segment products.
Visit local markets and factories to evaluate product quality and vendor reliability.
Coordinate with internal buying and catalogue teams to list products quickly.
Analyze vendor performance and ensure consistent supply for Indya Value collections.
Stay updated on
trending ethnic wear categories and key vendors
in Surats textile ecosystem.

Requirements

Must be based out of Surat
with strong connections in the local
textile / ethnic wear vendor network.
Prior experience in
vendor sourcing, buying, or marketplace seller management
(preferably from Meesho / Amazon / Flipkart).
Good knowledge of local wholesale markets (e.g., Ring Road, Udhna, Sachin GIDC, etc.).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Two-wheeler mandatory for market visits.
Preferred background: Apparel / Garment / Fashion / Marketplace sourcing.
