Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of all tractor aggregates, including powertrain, hydraulics, linkages, and structure.
  • Proficiency in UG NX (CAD) and Teamcenter (PLM).
  • Strong understanding of tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, assembly processes, and structural integration.
  • Experience with DFM, DFA, DFS, and manufacturability reviews.
  • Ability to conduct DFMEA at part/sub-assembly level, including structural components.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, linkage systems, and tractor structural integration.
  • Awareness of homologation and regulatory requirements.

Proven exposure to aggregate integration, hydraulics & linkage systems, tractor structure, DFMEA, assembly process integration, and validation readiness leading up to SOP.
Experience in meeting program timelines and deliverables in offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Aggregate Ownership & Integration

  • Lead integration of tractor aggregates: hydraulics and linkage systems (3-point hitch, lift arms, draft/position controls, stabilizers), PTO & driveline, axles, engine, transmission, tractor structure (chassis, subframes, ROPS, mounts), operator station, steering, fuel system, electricals, safety systems, and styling.
  • Ensure packaging feasibility, manufacturability (DFM/DFA/DFS), ergonomics, accessibility, serviceability, and structural integrity.
  • Manage system and subsystem-level targets in alignment with tractor architecture and feature roadmaps.
  • Support assembly and structural integration reviews, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

2. Validation & DFMEA

  • Understand DVP requirements at vehicle and system level.
  • Conduct DFMEA at part and sub-assembly level, including structural and aggregate interactions.
  • Support prototype builds, validation activities, and issue closure in line with program timelines and SOP milestones.

3. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (design, CAE, validation, manufacturing, service) for interface alignment and issue resolution.
  • Provide technical inputs during internal platform-level reviews and program governance meetings.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety, regulatory, and homologation requirements, ensuring design compliance.
  • Report progress on integration tasks, structural integrity, and timelines, highlighting risks or delays.
