About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VB.NET Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software development. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in VB.NET application development, SQL Server, and a good understanding of object-oriented programming. You will be part of a collaborative team working on both new development and maintenance of existing applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain VB.NET applications. Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features. Perform bug fixes, enhancements, and code optimization on existing applications. Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. Document code, technical specifications, and system configurations. Assist in application performance tuning and troubleshooting. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in VB.NET development. Strong knowledge of .NET Framework and Windows Forms or Web Forms. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, functions). Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Good understanding of object-oriented design principles. Basic knowledge of source control systems like Git or TFS. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ASP.NET Exposure to REST APIs or third-party integrations. Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
