Job Title: VAVE /Technical Lead (Electronics & Electrical)

Location: Pune

What you will do

Working with JCI VAVE team for teardown, should costing and analysis of electrical system product development. Analyse the Electrical design requirement. Review and own the output like product architecture (block diagram), wiring diagram, component layout, wire harness and electrical BOM. Participate in ideation workshop to bring out new ideas on table that will reduce the product cost or improve performance to be competitive in the market.

Working with procurement and Engineering team for digitization projects for alternate sourcing of electronic/electrical commodities, technical specification comparison, component attributes.

This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with global teams to support CPC initiatives.

How you will do it

• Work with JCI VAVE team to understand the project scope, requirements, evaluate and estimate the efforts.
• Plans work and ensure JCI standards and guidelines are adhered to, while executing the projects.
• Work with costing engineer to extract the BOM from the PCBA, identify components, board layout, and critical component identification.
• Understand all aspects of electrical design requirements of JCI products and suggest ideas that will lead to cost reduction or performance improvement or product enhancement.
• Teardown of electrical items that comes with various JCI products and create the product architecture, extract BOM, suggest alternate component.
• Ensuring quality and timeliness completion of assigned project
• Understand and follow the product development process.
• Work with coordination with project lead, product design team and overseas client
• Training and technical mentoring of the team

Required

• BE/B.Tech/M.Tech- Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• 10 years of experience in Electrical/Electronic system development and costing of electrical/electronic components.

• Good knowledge of electrical/electronic commodities like Motor, connector, wire & cable, switches, circuit breaker, fuses, capacitors, transformers and board loaded components (BLC).

• Good knowledge on Should costing and VAVE techniques

• Good knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing processes.

• Hand on experience on soft tools like MS excel, power point. Advanced tools, macros can be added advantage.
