UX Lead

We are seeking a talented user-experience (UX) designer with 8 to 10 years of experience to understand the requirements of all digital products and projects at WVS. You will be responsible for conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. As the UX lead, you will design the functionality of the products, iterate based on user-testing feedback, and oversee a small team of 2 to 3 members, ensuring a great user experience for all digital assets. Your responsibilities will include translating concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that result in intuitive user experiences. You will contribute to the vision of WVS by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products. Additionally, you will design wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for various devices and interfaces, while identifying and solving design problems with elegant solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have at least eight years of UX design experience, preferably with a background in designing complex solutions for complete digital environments and leading teams. Proficiency in standard UX software such as Sketch, Figma, XD, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, and Framer is essential, along with basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills. You must demonstrate the ability to work closely with clients to understand detailed requirements and design user experiences that align with their needs and vision. Moreover, you should possess extensive experience in leveraging UX design best practices, mobile-first and responsive design principles, user-centered design (UCD), user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility considerations. Your capacity to iterate designs efficiently, communicate design concepts effectively, collaborate with teams and stakeholders, and synthesize abstract ideas into concrete design solutions will be critical to your success in this role.
