UX Designer - Figma/Adobe XD

Responsibilities : UX Strategy and Vision : - Define and champion the user experience strategy and vision for our web and mobile applications, aligning it with business goals and user needs. User-Centered Design : - Lead and advocate for user-centered design (UCD) principles throughout the product development lifecycle. User Research and Analysis : - Plan, conduct, and analyze various user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and A/B testing, to gather valuable insights and inform design decisions. Information Architecture : - Develop clear and effective information architecture, user flows, and navigation systems for complex web and mobile applications. Wireframing and Prototyping : - Create low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and facilitate user testing. High-Fidelity UI Design : - Produce visually appealing and pixel-perfect high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, and other relevant design tools, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. Usability and Accessibility : - Ensure that designs are user-friendly, accessible (following WCAG guidelines), and meet usability standards. Collaboration and Communication : - Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executives. - Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Stakeholder Management : - Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and incorporating feedback into the design process. Design System Contribution : - Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all products. Mentorship and Guidance : - Mentor and provide guidance to other UX designers on the team, fostering their growth and development. Performance Analysis : - Analyze user behavior data and usability metrics to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs. Staying Current : - Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, tools, and best practices. Required Skills : Experience : 8+ years of professional experience in UX design for web and mobile applications. Design Tools Expertise : - Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD is essential. - Strong working knowledge of other design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator. User-Centered Design (UCD) : - Deep understanding and proven application of user-centered design methodologies and principles. Interaction Design : - Strong understanding of interaction design principles and best practices for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces. Usability Principles : - Comprehensive knowledge of usability heuristics and guidelines. User Research : - Extensive experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing various user research methods (e., interviews, surveys, usability testing). A/B Testing : - Experience in planning and interpreting results from A/B testing experiments. Usability Analysis : - Proven ability to analyze user behavior and identify usability issues. Wireframing and Prototyping : Excellent skills in creating wireframes (low to mid-fidelity) and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD. High-Fidelity UI Design : - Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and pixel-perfect high-fidelity UI designs. HTML, CSS, and Front-End Knowledge (Plus) : - While not mandatory, a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic front-end development principles is a significant plus for effective collaboration with engineers. Communication Skills : - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly and persuasively. Stakeholder Management : - Proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders, build consensus, and incorporate feedback constructively. Problem-Solving : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centric approach. Collaboration : - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in an Agile development environment. - Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG). - Experience with design systems and their implementation. - Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of UX principles and a diverse range of web and mobile design projects. - Experience with data visualization principles
