Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Technical Leadership : - Provide technical guidance to a team of ESB developers. - Act as the primary point of contact for complex integration challenges. - Ensure best practices in ESB design, coding standards, and deployment. Hands-on Development : - Design and implement robust ESB solutions using IBM IIB toolkit. - Develop APIs, orchestrations, batch jobs, and data transformations to support seamless system integration. - Write and optimize database queries for SQL Server to enable effective data handling. - Build and manage web services (REST/SOAP) with excellent knowledge of related standards and technologies. - Debug and resolve issues across production and non-production environments. Collaboration: - Work closely with the architecture team to align on integration frameworks and patterns. - Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams. Mentorship : - Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Promote knowledge-sharing within the team and organization. Requirements Technical Expertise : - 10+ years of experience in integration development with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM IIB toolkit. - Experience in developing and managing batch jobs. - Proficiency in database technologies, specifically SQL Server. - Excellent understanding of web services (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON). Leadership Skills : - Demonstrated experience in mentoring and leading small development teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment. Problem-Solving Abilities : - Adept at troubleshooting complex integration issues. - Proven ability to assess and mitigate risks in development projects.
