Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a UT/MPI Technician, located in Jamshedpur. The primary responsibilities include conducting ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle inspection (MPI) on materials and components to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The technician will analyze test results, prepare inspection reports, and collaborate with the quality assurance team. They will also ensure that all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated and follow strict safety protocols during inspections.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) techniques
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and document inspection results
• Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations in non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Experience with maintaining and calibrating UT/MPI testing equipment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Certification in NDT Level II in UT and MPI is required
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
